This is my go to spot for Greek food! The food is always so delicious and the servers are friendly and welcoming. The sweet potato pita, beet salad, and baklava froyo are a must try :)

The staff members are friendly, the service was satisfactory, and the establishment is maintained in a clean and tidy manner, with the food being quite delicious. I certainly plan to return and sample other items on their menu.

Food came out fast, was pleasantly surprised w the portion. Staff is friendly. I’m a pretty big guy, came in hungry was happy to find myself decently full. Fries had a great crunch, the meat was flavorful and not dry, overall great experience. Lots of parking in the back.

I really enjoyed this Greek restaurant where they served delicious pita sandwiches, salads, Zeus fries, GR Burger, and other meals. I can definitely remember PITA GR forever and cross it off the bucket list. I got the chicken pita sandwich with French fries and they were so good!

Ordered pick-up because my mom loves Mediterranean food and this place was near the hospital she was staying at. They had the food ready by the time I walked down from the hospital room to my car. The order was put together and ready by the time I got there. The person who welcomed me was super nice and patient with me. It took me 15 minutes to get there and 15 minutes to drive back to the hospital, and the food was still warm. My mom enjoyed the wrap and the ice cream. I think this meal was the most she had eaten during her entire stay in the hospital. We will 100% be eating here again!

The staff here are nothing short of amazing—helpful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your experience great. When I was undecided, an employee patiently guided me through the menu, ultimately recommending the Chicken Souvlaki plate, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. This place is a feast for the senses. The vibrant, modern Mediterranean decor creates a gorgeous and inviting environment. It’s spacious and open, with plenty of parking, making it convenient to visit. The delicious aroma hits you the moment you walk in, and while there were consistent customers eating in, it never felt crowded. Best of all, the food came out quickly despite the steady flow of patrons. The food is absolutely top-notch. Every bite showcased their commitment to quality and flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the tzatziki sauce—it was fresh, creamy, and downright addictive. You can tell they take pride in every dish they serve. Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. Whether you’re craving authentic Mediterranean flavors or just want a delightful dining experience, Pita GR delivers on all fronts. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Pita GR is a family-owned Greek restaurant specializing in street food. They have two locations in SoCal: Downey and Brea. My review refers to the Downey restaurant, but I suppose what's served in Brea is exactly the same. Centrally-located near Paramount Blvd., from the outside, it appears to be a small place, but once you've ordered, you gain access to a fairly large dining room. It's modestly decorated, but it's very clean and well-kept. The food is what you'd expect from a similar restaurant, but it's generally more authentic and fresh. And the prices are more than reasonable. If you order lamb meat, that's what you get, and not the typical lamb/beef mix typically served in other Greek fast food restaurants. If you don't like "street style," you can also get your order on a plate, with an additional salad, for a modest price increase. The quality of the food was excellent. The pita was fresh and fluffy, the meat was savory and well-balanced (you typically get a ton of salt in other places), and the (presumably) home-made tsatziki was very creamy and not loaded with garlic. Service was prompt and corteous. Highly recommended.
